What had I been upto these past few days? erm... well, After photography, novel writing, cosplaying....
Now I'm into music - Yehey!

been composing songs... well, I find it quite entertaining.
Now, I'm really taking my art... into a whole new level... Woah! 
Now, there's two thumbs up to that... Yepee! =)

Alodianism (COSPLAY PART 1.1) Mother of Philippine Cosplay (My Opinion)

Alodia Gosiengfiao, is a cosplayer, artist, model, figure collector and blogger residing in the Philippines. I just graduated a month ago from the Ateneo de Manila University with a BFA Information Design degree.

It all started with my deviantart page, [link] wherein my first submissions were artworks related to anime and videogames, until I gradually added in some cosplay photos and photos I took of my figurine collection. Since I'm currently active in the cosplay community here in our country, my journal entries often tend to lean on reporting about those events.

Okay, just a brief overview on my history as a cosplayer. I started cosplaying at the age of 15 by joining competitions here in the Philippines and fortunately winning awards in those events. When I turned 18, I've been getting invited as a guest judge to several cosplay competitions once in a while, which means I am prohibited from joining the competitions, right? But that doesn't really stop me from cosplaying. Occassionally, my friends and I hold cosplay photoshoots. We invite photographers, spectators, fellow cosplayers and anyone who could lend a hand. We try to share the love of cosplaying not just during the shoots or events here in our community but also online, from posting artworks to posting out-takes and reporting about the happening.

As for collecting figures, I've been into it for 1 and half years now and one of the people that inspired me to start my collection was Danny. Before collecting, I just used to browse through photos and reviews of figures online. After some time I finally received one as a gift and eventually they multiplied. After almost a year of collecting, I also delved into photography and started taking photos of my figure collection.

I Have My Reason To Live Again

10 REASONS WHY I LOVE ----
1.       He’s a perfect gentleman.
2.       He’s a good basketball player, because of him basketball, had never been this cool.
3.       He’s intelligent, and yet he’s so humble.
4.       He is not a pretentious type of person. ( Well, it’s based on what I had seen)
5.       He is very simple.
6.        Should I say he’s friendly? (haha..)
7.        Neat.
8.        He is not arrogant.
9.       We are a complete opposite, but aren’t opposites attracting the most? (LoL)
10.   He has a close family tie, and its one thing I could never had.


In short, he’s just the one I’ve been looking for. My perfect guy. My prince charming. Ayan, I’ve given my reasons na, so I hope no one will be asking why’s already. This 10 reasons signifies 10 days of sacrifice. So, I hope walang magalit… =)

PS. By the way someone told me na DnD ako sa kanya, excuse me you’ve got me WRONG. Ni hinda nga ako nagpapakita dun, so pano akong magiging DnD? LoLs.. I’m not mad, just correcting you guys lang… ;)  Nakakatawa laak (hahahaha…) but I have to admit, I really love looking at him even it’s from afar, at least dun SAFE walang bomba.

Bad Hair Day For A Cosplay Rookie

Guys? Who's interested with Cosplay?

Well, I'm planning to organize a cosplay convention on February. Date and details? Haven't thought of that yet, kinda busy lately. I really do have, many unfinished businesses, some of that are now hugely piled on my room already. T_T (hahaha...irresponsible much? surely hope not) hmmm... I guess I'm still lucky though, I was able to perfect my practical quiz on VB.Net. I thought I will not be able to make it, despite the fact that I just copied the one I've passed to sir mario and that I really didn't studied nor even checked it, it was surely a lose-lose situation(hahaha... Shame on me..LoL) It was really a surprise attact. It really did caught me off guard. Good thing, I have a good comprehension.

Gosh! God, thank you for giving me good instincts. If it weren't for that, I would really go on a binggo for that subject. LoL... LESSON LEARNED: BE VIGILLANT ALWAYS. STUDY! STUDY! I have this feeling, everything would be harder starting from day on.(well, I surely hope not, but if it does, I hope I could bear it.) AJA!

He's present today, he attended his class I guess, but I haven't seen him. HATE it! <3 I miss chubby boy.

Facing Pain

When a man learns to love, he risks himself on bearing hatred because love breeds sacrifice, which in turns breeds hatred on one's heart but those who cannot understand pain, cannot understand true peace and will never find true love. Everyone of us had experience hatred, to hate and be hated; this are now all a part of our human existence. Courage on the other hand, doesn't mean the absence of fear in one's self, it means having strength to face that fear. Like facing hatred, the most important thing is not on becoming strong but on learning how to to confront it.
When we get hurt, we learn to hate. When we learn to hate, we tend to hurt the one we hate and when we hurt others, we become hated in return and we became continuously racked with guilt, but knowing that somehow pain allows us to be kind, gives me a feeling that somehow along that knee-shriveling pain, it teaches us to grow into a better person than what we are today. 

Well, I’ve really learned about few important things lately and Naruto did taught me a lot of it; things, which I couldn’t learn at school or at home. Naruto, had inspired me to reconnect my bonds with those I’ve hurt, and to face fear and hatred within the limit of my bounds to become better, not in terms of brains, but in soul. It is definitely my most loved anime. The anime of life. Good story. Beautiful life lessons, which coud really make you stop for a while and think.

 Ikaw? Do you really know what true pain really feels like? =)

A Purpose Driven Life

There comes a time in a man's life when he has to grow up, and regardless of when and how, the best time is always now. And no matter how much it hurts, no matter how angry you're beat up deep inside it is never a good idea to shut people out, because you always end up shutting yourself  in.

A lot of people live half alive, and half a lie.

It's so easy to hide you true self in the world, to hide behind your mask, to talk without really speaking, to hear without actually listening and to live and not be alive. Too many of us are scared of the world and what it may think of us. That if we smile, we're still weak. That if we laugh, we become foolish and that happiness always end up in hurt.

But that is of course, until he came and from one shining moment it all became graciously simple, and I have learned to live and love again and yet now more than ever i realized that I can never truly love someone without releasing the ghost of my past, the story behind this mask. I always believed that true love only comes once in a lifetime, so we must take it as it comes along and enjoy every bit of it, for it might never come again. People often ask what the best way to love is. After considering everything that comes with love, I think it is safe to say that the best way to love is to love like a child: pure, innocent and without hesitation.  As joe d' mango defines...

Love isn’t when you can’t sleep … it’s when you want to keep your eyes open…

Love isn’t when you keep holding on … it’s when you learn to let go …

Love isn’t when you kill yourself with jealousy … it’s when you understand …

For now, I don't know what really love is.

No, I never even felt this before. But surely I'll love to search it on every open doors, until I finally found my missing piece. Some say, you don't find love, love finds you. But isn't destiny just an excuse to let things happen instead of making things happen? I don't know what a great love feels like, but if ever I would be given the chance to experience it, I want to believe I would be have that courage to seize it. 

 Some of this lines(most of it, I guess) were just borrowed from famous writers, novelers, and poets like Martha Cecilia and Joe d' Mango, so please don't be surprise if some of them were familiar.(LoL) This was not actually meant for the public, it was specially made for my mvp valentine, but he might not have get what I really meant so might as well show to this to you. =)
